I went to Washington DC for the NSDC 08 conference on 5 Dec to 13 Dec. The trip gave me opporturnities to meet all the other new SSDs from the same cluster of schools. I learnt what are the new practices in the states on professional development which are community professional learning, classroom walkthrough, PL coachers, ideas on school improvement plan. The short-coming of the trip was that no recreation activity was planned.
